Why insist on blood work before anything else?
“I read every blood panel personally. The plan follows the cause, not the symptom.”
What if someone is not ready for a transplant?
“If you are not a candidate yet, I will tell you. That honesty is the whole point of step one.”
§04 The price, in writing
Two numbers.
No meter running.
Most UK pricing is per graft, so the figure moves. Ours is fixed at consultation and written down. The quote we write is the price you pay on the day.
Smaller procedure · hairline, temples, early loss
Larger procedure · crown or more advanced loss
- Everything included. Agreed in writing before you book.
- Which of the two you pay is decided by the area treated, at a free consultation.
- Twelve months of follow-up, with check-ups at 3, 6 and 12 months.
The detail lives on the pricing page, and the honest market picture in our UK cost guide.
§05 How it works

§09 Common questions
The things people
actually ask.
Is a hair transplant right for me?
A transplant could be right for you if you have thinning or receding hair, enough healthy donor hair at the back and sides, and want lasting, natural-looking results. It may not suit you if hair loss is very recent or still progressing rapidly. Most people with pattern hair loss are good candidates, and this is assessed at consultation.
Will I be left with visible scarring?
With our Sapphire FUE technique, scarring is virtually undetectable. FUE leaves only tiny dot scars hidden by surrounding hair, fading to near-invisibility within 6 to 12 months. FUT leaves a single fine linear scar at the back of the scalp, easily concealed under hair.
Is a hair transplant painful?
You'll feel a slight pinch during the initial anaesthetic injections, that's the worst of it. Once the anaesthesia takes effect most patients feel pressure at most, and many relax, watch films, or nap. Mild tenderness afterwards is easily managed with over-the-counter pain relief.
When will I see results?
Transplanted hairs fall out in weeks 2 to 4, this is normal. Real growth begins months 3 to 4. By months 4 to 6 you'll typically see 50 to 60% density. Full results at 9 to 12 months. Many patients see a marked improvement by month 6.
What's included in the price?
Everything. Blood tests, Sapphire FUE surgery, full post-op growth treatment course, 12 months structured support, a long-term result review, hotel stay and taxi. Nothing hidden.
Will I need to shave my head?
You have options. The standard shaved approach gives surgeons optimal visibility and is most cost-effective. An unshaven approach is available for those wanting to hide the procedure, more time but maintains length. We discuss both at consultation.
How long does the procedure take?
FUE: typically 4 to 8 hours depending on grafts. FUT: 4 to 6 hours. Breaks whenever needed. Lunch and snacks provided for full-day sessions.
